CI TIP is an ultrasonic tip designed for performing the passive ultrasonic irrigation(PUI) protocol.
It is used for irrigation using ultrasonics in combination with sodium hypochlorite(NaOCl), Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) and etc. Ultrasound improves the irrigation effect by generation of cavitation and acoustic streaming.
CI TIP is a combination of CS chuck and CI file. The CI file is pre-bent to increase visibility of the part where the tip operates.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
① Chuck: CS (no water port)
② File: CIF90(90 degree bent file), CIF120(120 degree bent file)- File size #20 x length 22mm INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
① Combine the CS chuck and the CI file.
- Turn the CS cap counterclockwise with the wrench to loosen.
- Insert the CI file into the hole of CS until it reaches the end to prevent loosening.
- Turn the CS cap clockwise to tighten.
③ Use in the root canal filled with irrigating solution and keep the file out of contact with the canal wall as file is more likely to fracture when file is in contact with the canal wall.
Note: Ultrasonic tip wrench is not included. The wrench can be purchased separately.
